That’s right, we’re giving two SpaDES workshops at the University of Laval, Quebec City, this coming May 2nd.
The two workshop sessions are part of the 12th Annual Conference of the Centre for Forest Research (Centre d’Etude de la Foret), and we were very happy to discover that we have a full house for both!
The session will be an introduction to SpaDES. We’ll discuss it’s potential and how it can be used at a higher level (that is, without having to dig in the code so much). The second session is targeted to those who wish to learn how they can develop their own simulation models in SpaDES. It’ll be more technical, of course, but still fun if you’re half as geeky as I am (and I’m not that geeky, mind you!).
I’m super excited for this and really looking forward to be teaching SpaDES to new faces!
